Photo Council Tour of Photo Book Works

Another great reason to become a member of this important organization! The Portland Art Museum Photography Council supports the photography collection with a regular roster of events such as the Brown Bag Lunch Series, private collection tours, the annual print sharing event and the always fun annual acquisition meeting where council members help choose new works for the collection.
This special event is a private tour of Photo Book Works for Photo Council members and guests. (Consider this to be your invitation to join us as my guest.) The evening is being hosted by the museum's curator of photography, Julia Dolan. Three of the artists featured in the show will be on hand to give you the inside story behind their work. Come find out first-hand how these beautiful photographic artist books were conceived and created.
